1. Who We Are
BarReps LLC ("BarReps," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at barreps.com and the BarReps study platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We do not store plaintext passwords.
Usage data. As you use the Service, we collect information about your study activity, including question responses, flashcard progress, essay completion status, self-assessment ratings, and scheduling preferences. This data powers adaptive features such as spaced repetition intervals and accuracy analytics.
Payment information. Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full credit card number. Stripe collects and processes payment card details, billing address, and related information under its own privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
Device and access data. We automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited within the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Service, process payments and manage subscriptions, send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, billing notices), analyze usage patterns to improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party providers to operate the Service. Each receives only the data necessary for its function:
Supabase: database hosting and user authentication.
Stripe: payment processing and subscription management.
Resend: transactional email delivery.
Google Analytics (property ID G-2WPCFJ4LSV): website analytics, including page views, session duration, and usage patterns.
Google Ads: advertising measurement and conversion tracking.
Reddit Ads: advertising measurement and conversion tracking.
Zoho: customer support communications.
Each provider operates under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser to collect anonymized usage data. Google Ads and Reddit Ads may set cookies for conversion tracking when you arrive at the site through an ad on those platforms. These cookies help us understand how people find and use BarReps. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or behavioral targeting unrelated to our own ads.
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the Service.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms.
7. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request deletion of your personal information, and request a copy of your data in a portable format.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, and the right to request deletion. 9. Children
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide notice through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
